New player and need some questions answered

Hi all!

 

I just started playing again with my brother after a very very long break. I used to play on the same server (I think?), but back in the day it was called RenaissancePT I believe. It's good to see extra levels added and weapons/armour.

 

I have forgotten a lot of the stuff though:

 

- I remember items being perfect or not perfect, could some one explain to me how this system works again? How can I see if an item is perfect or not?

 

- Is there still this level 100 weapon quest bug in place?

 

- Did the xp rate increase? I played for a bit and gaining xp is a lot easier than back in the day

 

- I see a lot of cash shops in the game, which I totally understand to support the owners of the server. But is it pay to win?

 

- Any extra tips or things I have to be wary of?

 

I might have some more questions in the future

1 - You can buy an item in-game to check if a desired item is perfect it cost 200 gold.

2 - The level 100 quest weapon was removed from game.

3 - Exping is a bit better now since Renaissance times.

Although there are still some things I don't fully understand. I see a lot of player shops saying: Selling KS or AS, etc..

What is KS and AS? Does that refer to the fact if it's a Knight spec. or Atlanta spec.? Also.. what are the differences between the different absorb rates? As a new player, do I have to be wary of the different absorb rates and it being perfect or not? Does it matter at lower levels? Will I notice the difference?
