Is Power Mech viable for Realm PT?

In the original PT people coined terms for specific builds of mechanician (Spark mech for using Spark/Spark Shield/Magnetic Sphere for AOE, Power Mech for using Spears and spamming Grand Smash, tanking with Metal Armor/Physical Absorption, and Automech using Javelins and Bows with Automation), and I was thinking of using the Power Mech in Wartale.

 

Is this a good idea? Is Mech in general good for anything other than tanking in Realm PT?

The only problem I have with Mech is that I'm not a big fan of bows and javelins, but if it works, then great.

power mech is nice here for pvp for example using sword in 2h instead of hammers or scythe, it hits very good with maximize but doesnt tank good, u can use and change between metal armor and maximize and a good build
