Absorb boost?

Hello all  ,

i logged in game today and noticed my char had it's Absorb boosted,checked with some friends and they have reported the same.

I have tested it and there is indeed a difference in tanking ability,i looked in patch logs,and didn't see GMs mention any Absorb change,so is that a bug or planned change?

If it is a planned change,what is the change based on? can any GM clear things up?
