Some questions about shaman :'(

Can i ask you guys some questions:

1. what 1v1 skill shaman should use ? I heard that scratch has delay but some people still use it ?  ???

2. can shaman hunt ? i don't care about pvp  ;D but if his summon can tank so that he can smash the boss ?

3. is AOE skill of shaman good enough to train or go to SOD by himself ? some people said he was a good tanker.
