How does Lightning Sword works ? and how to use it correctly ?

Hello, another doubt, really apreciate the help of more experienced knights. I dont want to start another discussion about the nerf and how useless LS became.

 

I just want to understand the skill. I know it was a much better skill before the nerf, but right now, is it bugged, almost "non-functional" ?

Because I am testing it for myself, put LS level 10, and my intention was to up using brandish and LS, before I was using only brandish, to see if my xp becomes a little better.

 

But the fact is that skill not working or I dont know how to use it. When I use it, the monster just receive a single damage, maybe lower than even 1 brandish damage (cant tell for sure) and sometimes it got stuned (sometimes, the stun doesnt work all the times). But the worst, sometimes the monster doesnt receive any damage at all.

It happens that I use the skill 2 times in a row and no damage to the monsters.

 

Also whats up with the bolt interval and its duration ? other than the first and initial damage, and sometimes the stun, nothing more happens.

8 seconds of duration ? nothing happens in these 8 seconds, no bolts.

how much stm do u need to make it complete work? bc for me it drains 100stm/sec and stm = 0 = end of skill

No, Lightning Sword is probably the strongest AoE Skill in game right now. Just know that It deals more damage the closer the monsters are to the lightnings.
