Mage Stats and Gear

Hello People,

 

Im more the casual player who like to plan chars b4 doing mistakes. I will be playing solo and PvE, maybe a bit SoD

 

So now I've got a question ^^ In the most guides i find this:

 

Stats Efficient

Str - enough to wear boots etc

Spr - the rest

Tal - enough to wear gears

Agi - enough to wear boots etc

Health - base

 

But it's not mentioned which Boots, Gloves etc should be used.

Does a Mage use really the max lvl Boots Gloves Bracers?

 

 

But to use the 136 bracelets i would need 90str and 125agi.

Even 100 Str for using the higher level gauntlets

 

Putting all these facts together i would need the following stats:

 

Str - 100

Spr - rest

Tal - 90

Agi - 125

Health - base

 

Is this correct or am i missing something ?

haven't played for several years. Does items with Mage spec have lower requirements?

you should use max lv boot and gauntlet. For brace u can use any brace that fits your preference. I suggest lv 110 brace

I always aim for the highest gear.

Spi 350 (can't remember but around there)

With 150 points to spare, I haven't decided where to put them.

you're wasting 9 points with "Talent 90", mgs and prs use max Talent 81, Str i think its too much too (my mgs uses 80) and the rest I would put in Spirit

All your remaining points should go to spirit if you want to increase your damage with all of your spells.

 

In addition, you only need 83 strength, 77 talent and 104 agility at max level if you have good MGS specced boots/bracers/gauntlets (MGS spec can reduce the item str/agi/talent requirements by 10-25%). See also:
