No knights in top rankings - is there a reason?

Hi guys,

 

I am a new player, and I am debating between Fighter and Knight. Looking at the player rankings of Bellatra and PVP I see that the Knights presence is very small.

Is there a reason behind it?

Are these rankings a fair representation of classes in the high levels?

 

In higher levels - is it more important to have a skill which deals damage to many monsters or a skill which deals damage to one monster?

Knights sux... more or less that is the general idea :v
