Magician HUNTing

Hi.

What is the best skill to improve for Magician to use in one on one (HUNT maps) ?

It seems that Death ray is the only qualified skill for one on one but not strong enough even in lvl 10.

Also, is it worth investing Elite points in Fire elemental (of course after meteorite lvl 10...) ? if not, what is the next best skill for improvement in the 4th tier?

wait next patch probably they will change MAGE into % dmg based like SHAMAN

then amplify should work better with deathray for hunting
