IMO, howdy and many ppl's problem is not they have to wait. The problem is they do not know when the server is back. Why doesnt GM staff give us a number? 1,2 or 3 days?

 

Because it seems they simply don't know for sure, thats why. 

 

And some dude just made a post asking for BC. Yeah, I guess no BC this week. At least not at Sunday anyways rofl. Let's hope thewtstaff make a exception when servers come back up online and do a special day for BC this week. 

 

By the way, it's Howdy here. I've been banned on my account until later today. Funny part is that I don't even know why. I didn't cursed anyone. All I did was expressing my opinion... oh and calling God's name in vain. lol  :

The people who run this server also have jobs/school/life to tend to. If people think its so easy I challenge everyone who complains about long downtime to go off and run your own rather successful PT server and see how long you can maintain it and keep people happy. I can guarantee you that it will be virtually impossible to always keep everyone happy.

 

Best thing anyone can do is hang tough. I'm sure the downtime will most likely have something in compensation, especially to those who are graciously donating their money towards keeping this server running. I on the other hand am just glad I can play this game again to some degree that this was the way I wanted the official server to be run. These guys offer great support, attention to the community and run a fair good amount of events to keep things interesting. I tip my hat to all those who work hard on this server, cause without you guys I have no way of releasing my stress from life.

If you don't have the time to put into an event i don't know why you should start one. I'm not saying that i don't like events or such I love em. But if he got other things to do atm he shouldn't have started this event in the first place. Just put something easy into the game. I'm new here and i did play for like 10-15 mins before this maintainance happend and I just checked today if the server was up again and it chocked me that it wasnt. I know it's hardwork to keep an server up and such. But to start an event you should make sure you have the time to put into it because it takes a lot of time.

 

But i'm glad I found a server that got something else to offer then just the original gaming all the time, I like to see more such things but just make sure you have the time to put into it I don't know how this server have been before but it looks like it's been great, i've heard its awesome so im looking forward to play here.

It is possible to keep everyone happy in a private server, however everyone being happy leads to everyone quitting in a few days. When everything is perfect, nothing to work towards, no economy because everything is just handed to you, ppl get bored and do not want to play. But when you make them work for things and take away the time they have to work for them (the weekend for most), that sucks >,<"". ofc there is nothing we can do but sit and wait and hope they're doing their best to repair it, but flaming forums with crap language and getting mad at others and just looking what you can pick on their posts for is just retarded. Grow up a little please, I wish the game would just come up so these grime bags who have all these bad things to say can go back in game and clear the forum. :

 

 

edit:: I was able to connect and play for about an hour yesterday, before I went to visit some family, thought it was fixed, but apparently unable to connect again  :-X

The story would still be the same except the plot has changed, people will eventually complain as to why there would be no event. This is the main problem, a crowed of people eventually find something to complain about when its something that can't be handled so easily. I'm simply saying that instead of complaining about why and when to just go with the flow and just try to log inwtwhen you can and see for yourself if the server is up or not. There is nothing positive to come out of useless complaints.

Personally, I spent a bit on donation (you might say I am stupid) and the server still keep going on with maintenance and nobody take a look on this. The respond say "this server free and what you expected", I am totally disagree. Honestly, this is business ! and I don't think in the world "nothing is free" and this business work you have to thanks some addictive gamer "special the donator". For the charity, if you give charity at least you get back the tax return and get back the respectful. For some who not spend the money out of pocket, you can't understand what Howdy meant, lucky for me if I spent $500euro for Riona (I might get freak off). But for me, thank for server down such this long and I could have a great rest and go out. If totally shutdown, I will really happy and never get back to this game, but might miss some of virtual friend who has been level up with me

- Really sorry for the donator who make this server up, wish you all have a really great Haloween time and spend more time with family (not with Wartale....j/k)

How about some people donate and get no return and server down ? if you say something return then that item belong to you, and server down, and destroy everything from you. What is different if somebody go to burn you house ?

I started playing PT since ePT. I think it's almost 10 years now.

I always have to wait for 'server maintenance' so many times (not only for this server) and every time it's take more than 1 day.

So I realize that it's not easy to do Hosting for PT.

I saw the name Wartale many years ago. Now I come back and still see this name.

It means you got the best experience PT Host GM here.

Man ,stop disturbing , i don't know much about u guy but i think you spend to much time playing rpt. I wonder how long u see the sun or spend time with your friends or your family .

For me the  time Server maintenance is the time i need to life my realy life , do something i have to do before and some thing else like find new music or play other game .... My point is u guy just find something u should do before and finish it  and wait sv back online

For some reasons I would like to provide amsuing facts.

 

I'm really curious whats the different between offical server and private server nowaday.Alot of MMORPG games went to F2P(Free to play) and thier profit comes in form of a premium shop.

the premium shop sell alot of items that give advantage over other players such as head gears rental armors weapons exp potion depend on games which quite similar to private server as a form of donation.

 

However I saw some private server rolled back for over 2 months and they did not returned donor's items nor the money.People did complained and left,server apolgized but nothing been solved.

After few weeks people went back and play on that server as if roll back never happened.

 

Of course those facts have nothing to do with this thread its just some comments remind me of those facts.
