Skill for AOE, Impulsion over Spark or Spark over impulsion?

Not sure if have been asked before..

 

I have spark 10, impulsion 10. Does damage stacks with force orb? Currently i find that Spark > Impulsion (even impulsion should be better )

 

Spark is base on character's level /4, which means the higher level the character's level the less useful for impulsion?

 

The damage for impulsion 65% light damage, do they stack with weapon damage too?

 

Will Impulsion gets buff in damage in the upcoming change? For me the range is ok.

 

Can i have the GM to clarify this pls?

I am thinking of switching from sparks to impulsion too for better damage.  I think the question is how much hp i have to sacrifice for strength in order to make it worthwhile?  Also, do critical and AR matters for impulsion? 

 

To answer Op's question, from what I know, Sparks is based on char's lvl however I don't think it is better than impulsion because Impulsion is based on weapon's power hence easier to enhance(ageing, force) than char's lvl.

 

The 65% damage would be based on your weapon's damage, I don't see how it can be otherwise.

 

I think the only downfall is that sparks is unlimited target and spd 13 with wrench n summer n impulsion is only 15 target and spd 8.

i not tested yet (i will test in 134) but i have a great hope about impulsion, i imagine impulsion can be more useful than spark if mech use he max dmg

maximize+sol force+ mech mastery+ a good 2h weapon, yes can be useful in 13x+ i imagine...more than spark, spark utility ends in ad3 and ct3(witch wrench)

impulsion can be the future to spark mech,no doubt.

spark have a limit.

I agree, but with that build you just kill 1x1 I think, because maximize cancels others importants defensive skill that MS have.

 

I keep on believe spark is better yet

yes...in pvp or map hunt mech with maximize die easily(without thrine shield/metal armor) but in map exp can tank with maximize(iron core and sl with good set)...

Hunt in death island with impulsion and maximize is impossible.

I am 129 with wrench mix speed, i take 5 minutes in ice mine to kill 6 mobs :( but spark get +4 dmg in each level,this dont make diference in one level up but...

in ten levels of diference you can see the diference... In ft2 for example, now128 spark destroy all there, so baseed in this example i can imagine a mech spark

with spark can be more effective in Ice mine , only 10 levels later...in 138only.

Hi. I acctualy play with a 147 mecanichian, dont know if is to far from your lvl character, but i can do SoD quite easily till round 6 using impulsion (using 134+22 claw, no 2h weapon).

 

I have started 2 new characters and im using mine ms to leveling them in MD3, doing 1.5k-2k-3k (with miximize, not health points, using inferna/mirage forces ) of damage with skill impulsion.

 

Never tryied to do hunt with power ms, not even using impulsion, since i have gears to do it as auto-ms.
