TripleR 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 Hi. I have a very serious and tricky question for the real players. For you, regular players like me, what is the difference between watching a VN player bot all the way up to level 120 and watching another player donate all the way up to 120? What do you feel when you see a VN player botting his way up to the top? And what do you feel when you see another player donating his way up to the top? Is the feeling any different? ... If you love to cry about botters and hackers, maybe it's about time you start crying about donations for levels, because the concept is the same. Let's say it costs me X euros to donate for a 120 char. Why can't I just bot all the way up to level 120 and then pay those X euros to unban my char? Isn't that the exact same thing? Think about it. Maybe you should cry about that too, no? So why don't you do it?... Give me your honest answers.

If you don't, bye bye Exactly, both are sucks but i prefer to know that whoever is at lvl 120 was because he spent money, than a person who hasn't spent anything and goes far beyond lvl 120. rye 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 atleast donators spent their cash (help server running) (but hackers dont, only ruin the server) that they make in their real life its not just "yea, they do nothing, then go up to 12x"
TripleR 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 I prefer to know that whoever is at lvl 120 was because he spent money, than a person who hasn't spent anything and goes far beyond lvl 120. What if that person gets banned and then pays to get unbanned? Isn't that considered "donating for levels"? I mean... seriously. But one of them is allowed, the other isn't The question is why. Why is bribing the GMs not allowed while donating for levels is?

Gogg 3 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 That's how it works Rules are made to be followed There's no good or bad rule, it's a rule If you break a rule you're supposed to face some kind of punishment. If this punishment in ban you'll be banned. Paying to get unbanned would be a way to avoid punishments and this will be a total chaos

Gogg 3 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 Man, I study law and I'm telling you that's not how stuff works Sorry but my English is too limited for this kind of discussion, and I'd need to read a bit to remember some details about law and it's theories
TripleR 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2011 again: A Game is A game The Real Life is The Real Life why you ppl keep on making rl examples when it's about a game? This is not "just a game", sweety. When real money is involved it's never "just a game". It's just like Poker. you're making hypothetical questions involving in its corruptions what i believe that isn't happening. Dude, I'm telling you bribes do not happen. But I wonder why, after all it's the same thing as donating for levels. I'll explain the reason of this topic: I want to remove the option to donate for levels (it's obvious that I don't want to legalize bribes ).
