With that value it would have the same hit possibility as Fighters using Avenging Crash and Knights using Grand Cross (if we are comparing characters with similar items/level). The damage of Death Ray is good now. The only problem is that Magicians have very low attack rating compared to other classes because other classes main 1on1 spamable skills have attack rating boosts on them, while Death Ray does not. About Stone Spike, it has the possibility to miss now. It's current damage boost is +71% with the possibly of 5 hits. Meteorite has a damage boost of +75% that always lands 3 hits. What about raising Stone Spikes damage boost from 71% to 80%? I believe with it being a Tier 5 skill, it should have a little more damage boost then Meteorite being a Tier 4 skill, but not much more because it has the possibility to land 2 more hits. In PvP, Stone Spike now does 75% of the total damage that it would do in PvE. Thoughts? Leave feedback, don't just complain. That gets us no where. We all want a better balance. Belive me I believe Magicans will be balanced nicely after the patch today. The problem was that they were so OP to being with, that the initial nerf was to much. They will never be how they once were (1 death ray / 2 stone spikes from players using 122+22 wands killing 160 mechs), but will still be good AOE killers with stone spike, and not have Death Ray miss 60%+ of the time. People have to understand it is nearly impossible to get a skill balance correct when changing multiple skills at once. Initial patch was 4 days ago. At least people can see they made changes on Sunday and are making changes again today, so the staff is working on the issue to please everyone. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

In that case i would suggest that the damage reversed back to the previous and make it cant step to the same mob or players, that shd be the right way in many others game. Belive me just because its better than ept doesn't mean it does not have it flaws. First bad balance to Mage was in January with the new update (it became OP is pvp and shit in pve) and since then its the same OP in PVP more and more shit in PVE.
