@Lucas: My response is about how things work, in general. Or least its principal, and how some big clans govern.  I'm not defending whoever you are preferring to in your example. I'm just trying to offer the least biased explanation, so that before jumping on the Vietnamese bashing wagon people have a few things to consider.

 

Now you ask me how can they lvl so fast? Well, I don't recall saying "this is how they do 1 lvl in 3 days", so if that is your concern I can't help you there. This is like a guy who only cares about how-fast seeking advice from a person who only knows how-to-get-there. For god's sake, I'm not replying to your case nor defending the wicked, so if you have made up your mind that if it quacks like a duck and walks like a duck, it must be a duck then no one can stop you from calling it a duck. Given that many ducks come from that lake, but you don't think that all the inhabitants are ducks do you? Calling all Vietnamese are hackers is doing just that. Point blank, don't generalize a country. I partied with some mutha-effer Vietnamese, too. But I don't let those effed up ruin my view about a country.

 

 

Just a side story, back in the day my friend told me to go to F2 to train because ratoo drops Jera. His selling Jera business earned him quick and easy gold. Now I was there for nearly the same amount of time, but I only found 2 Jera.

I have been hunting for quite awhile...It is a bit off how often many of these VN's drop 120 items, they have 120 gear on that I have never seen on the forum etc.

The rate at which many of these players level is no less than physically impossible in most cases. Even skill has its limits and I agree that If a lot of these players played the game right they would be skilled.

 

@Minjee, of course people will use XP service, if it is easier for you to work at your job, have a social life and pay a little money on the side for an XP service that's fine. But the person who XPs you has to sit in front of their computer and put in the time, how is it fair for them to expend so much energy to level someones char when a VN will simply plow right through it using hack tools?

 

This game is digressing again into what it once was, it is becoming filled with hackers and most of us who play the game fairly have no hope to see our characters on the ranking charts because of this fact.

 

It is naive to believe that players who have gotten so many second chances or gotten around the anti-hack system will stop hacking, If something works, and you have a backup plan, why not abuse it?

 

GM's should be watching these characters closely and permanently banning these accounts, and after that they should erase them from the rankings like they never existed to people who really play the game can see some progression.

 

It is sad to see sweeping generalizations about VN players, that is not what I am trying to do, I know of many who play fair and am friendly with many of them as well, the fact of the matter is though, that in order to preserve the server and keep people playing this game, a few of these individuals should be closely watched.

i am not saying that ALL viets are hacks. But lets see nowadays rpt have many hacks. And where are they from`? They are from vietnam. Have viets honests but the hacks are viets. Hunting: i think i can not drop high-level items in a little time like you said .... i hunted all day and just drop 1 item 115. it's easy or not?? I think it's just defend on luck or unluck.........I hope you can drop some high-lv items Lucas ^^"....!

On topic: I don't say I know for 100% sure that there's no hack for extra droprate, but as far as I know hunting is all about luck. When I just became 125 I found many 120 in a short time. There were also people that questioned my luck, but I did exactly the same as I do now but now I have much less luck.

Lucas isn't wrong here. It is not necessary to make sweeping generalizations against viets. This is true.

 

However what you are suggesting is that because we are players, and not admins we should shut our mouths and sit in the backseat while these problems take place? This server works because of suggestions from people on this forum and the needs of the players. It is just like any small or large government, without people contributing you have pretty much nothing. It is stupid to say we cannot make accusations againt other players. If we are wrong we can graciously admit that we were wrong, it is that simple. The GM's are not superhuman, they are not god they cannot be everywhere within the game at one time eliminating all of our in-game problems that is why we have a report section.

 

I think that the day people have more respect for Viets on this server will be the day when you see one Viet report another Viet. I have yet to see a significant amount of cases that match that criteria, where in contrast, you see English speaking players report English speaking players, and BR's reporting BR's all over the report section.

 

What this does is force us to assume that Viets are aware of each others unfair behavior and overlook it because of some gain for themselves.

 

To say that players should stay out of the "buisness" of admins and GM's in terms of bans, unbans, hackers, and any form of cheating is absolutely retarded.
