DarkLink64 921 Report post Posted August 10, 2017 (edited) Hello peeps! Now that the Multimedia rules finally changed, I'm free to post my YouTube content. I believe most of you have already watched it, but I'd like to share it again!Disclaimer: I like to record, edit and publish videos. I have a lot fun while editing my videos, so my main goal is to entertain. Also, my second goal is to show how strong my class can be, Knight, when coupled with good PvP skills and tools. As a consequence, many players got interested on the server, working as a little market tool for the server. Also, I don't care if you like or not the ways and tools I had used on my videos. If the game offers buffs to buy, party buffs, and all other things, it should be used. I do everything I can to be the very best, following my own standards and not doing the same as everyone else. So, you can disagree by some stuff that i might use, but I won't change my mind. You can do the same, it isn't illegal neiter against the rules :) The most recent PvP Video of my Knight - proving that you don't need to be a Generic Knight to be good! (Using Hammer instead of Sword). Added some League of Legends aesthetics to it, coupled with the glorious Initial D sountrack. I LOVE Initial D! Like i've always did on my life - I hate to follow the "Meta", or, to do what everyone does. I've always liked to prove that being different, can have the same or even better outcome. I've did it now by using a Hammer, and did it on the past by using Piercing as a main AoE skill, and, Double Crash instead of Grand Cross. Thats how I like to play - be competitive while being unique, different than the rest! This is my very first Wartale - now Wartale - PvP Video. It was a sequel, or a "updated" version of my very first Knight PvP Video ever: For who is interested, here is the backstory. I've been playing PT for quite a long time, always with my favourite class, Knight. Almost 10 years ago, I got tired of how awfull the official Brazilian server got, then decided to play on a private server called XPK, where everyone had the same level and gears, you only had to pick your class and that's it. All maps on the game had PvP enabled, but the main area was, obviously, the Bless Castle and Navisko. I never stepped on Navisko for PvP, because I liked how the PvP worked on Bless Castle - insite the Battle Zone, pvp worked normally, but outside of it, it required the Ctrl key to be held, and all attacks never missed, but they never critically strike. The balance on this server was the same as the original PT on this very same era - Bugged as fuck, unbalanced as always. We can call it the glorious (or not) Pike Tale era. Knight was a garbage class, overshadowed by Pikes on all cenarios, and most of his skills didn't worked, like Drastic Spirit. Also on that era, Defense as a whole never worked on PvP (only on specific conditions, like when you had a Clan while the clan system got disabled, and doing some exploits with Hair Pots), Block was only visual (sometimes it worked, sometime it didnt), and only evasion worked, giving Pike another advantage. PvP was resumed on who used Charged Strike first - it was, almost all the time, a garanteed kill, because all the three hits got the vanish buff. You had to pot on a ver good timming, because each hit made your health very low. However in this server, Knight had something fun to play with - Devine Piercing without delay. The balance of DP was the same as the very old, about 30 or 35% damage boost at level 10. It was just a slight buffed auto attack, but since everyone barely blocked/defended hits, only Pikes could do it with Evasion, it was able to kill. I was (much like here) a common target on PvP, where I've always fought alone against lots of people. I've never tolerated some injustices, and i've always opposed against stuff I found wrong on that server, so, I become a common enemy for everyone. But it had a good side - I was able to kill anyone I want, and trust me, it was extremely fun. People began to call me hacker/cheater/ blug exploiter due to my unusual performance with a shitty class like Knight, even taking PD without delay in consideration. So, out of boredom on my birthday, i've decided to record a video, to prove that I didn't used any kind of cheats or bugs. Another reason that motivated me to record my own video, is a much valued friend of mine on that era - Hugin. He and Pleomax, they were my closest friend, we shared lot of time togheter playing on BPT. Also, it was both Hugin and Pleomax who taught me to play as Knight. My video was a tribute to the video made by Hugin, that got my attention. I think you guys can spot some common aspects between his video and mine - The intro style, the music, and the damn pikes backstabbing at the end, something i've put in the middle of my video. Yeah, i've tried to copy his style, it isnt for bad intentions - it was just a tribute to his style, to show how much I appreciated him as a good person and strong player! Being like Hugin and Pleomax was my objective. I like to see them as my masters, and i'm their disciple. I've tried to publish my video on all PT related "Orkut" communities, and on the game forum. Got banned on all of them, hehe. But for my surprise it got very popular, and my goal was reached - I've got many players interested on playing with Knight and joining the server to be like me. I don't like to be popular, to be honest I hate it, but what I really like is people being different, doing what they like, against all odds. Play with what you like the most, instead of playing with a class just because it's the strongest. Being the strongest doesn't mean being the most satisfying or the most fun way to live. Overcomming all the odds, being unique and different, but still achieving success, is what I am always striving for. XPK Server was only fun on the first few months, then afteward, went downhill, so I began to play Wartale on 2010. I'm planning to make more videos, so stay tunned! Thanks for reading and watching!
