Actually, he is just pointing out the obvious. What these guys are doing is not a small feat. They aren't simply doing a maintenance, they are, from what I understand, re-writing the base code for the game, allowing them full control over future development of new maps, items, characters etc. They are doing what Yedang did years ago to originally create the game, and the fact that it is taking 5+ days is impressive. So stop being disrespectful to the people trying to improve YOUR gaming experience, be patient and when the server goes live again, thank the GM's, Support crew and developers and have some fun.

the other day I pmed GM-1 to ask when are they going to balance the characters and he had told me that they are recoding the whole game. WOW! takes a lot of skills and knowledge for people to do so. I honestly really enjoy their works and development for this game. A constant push to better the game the game and own it! Keep it up GM. Surely a 5 day-maintenance will be better for a long term. thrilly support this game and hopefully it will stay for a a while!

ya  fue  creo el juego ya  solo dan excusas salados los q recargaron su coins jajajajajaja  juegare otra cosa  xq ya llega 25 y  aun no podemos jugar  deberian decir cuanto tiempo debemos de esperar para no estar  esperando envano

no one is siting here demanding for compensate? rofl? i dont see one post saying GIVE US THIS FOR ALL THIS DOWN TIME ROFL?? all ppl asked for is info being most of us have been playing sense the game first was released

I dont think you get the point, Most of the people are not mad at the GM because they did not doing their job,  we know its an old game and its take a lot of time and its not easy to recoding the whole game.  We are disaapoint because GM keep saying " The server is up online in the few hours" to keep our hope up, but the fact is its will take longer than that. As for my experience here at Wartale, Maintanance are ALWAYS LONG!!, in the first few time I am waitting for the game to come back up, but now i know there are a lot of better things to do beside listen to GM and waiting for the server to get back up.

Pro tip :), be patience and  find something better to do and check back at wartale for a few hours.

Thats the biggest thing when they say something u kinda expect them to keep to it and its been like a week now lol

Not in this thread no, but if you go and read the other threads people have made complaining about the maintenance, you will see a lot of people demanding compensation. And my point is not just that, I am more so speaking of people being disrespectful to the staff who are working hard to bring the server back up. And when I say being disrespectful, I mean blatant complaints about the length of time on something that clearly will take more time than expected. They are providing infomation, the fact is that they are running into bugs and other issues that prevent the server from going live. Rome wasn't built in a day.

I get the point. However, people need to understand that bugs and unexpected issues will pop up with a big undertaking like this. At least they are giving some infomation, would you rather the server just go down for maintenance for 5+ days with no updates at all? I agree, people just need to be patient, find something else to do until the server goes back up. Good pro tip :)

Yeah. Unfortunately re-coding can present unexpected bugs and issues. Better for them to keep the server down, fix those bugs, then let the server go live with game breaking bugs.
