about being afk and "holding" a spawn, does it belong to the person that is afk?  should there be a rule stated such that if there is no activity in a spawn for 5 min, it is an open spawn.

For example. You go to the spawn. There's one guy there, he looks AFK. You ask him:

 

- Hey, are you there?

(The guy does not answer and does not move/attack/etc)

- Hey?

(The guy does not answer and does not move/attack/etc)

- You there?

(The guy does not answer and does not move/attack/etc)

 

Do this for a few minutes (5 at least), take some screenshots and take over the spawn. We have a rule for kill stealing. If the guy ain't killing, you ain't stealing.

if someone doesn't reply for, let's say 5 minutes, while doing nothing then you can report him for botting, just take screenshots in those 5 minutes

 

during those 5 minutes try to hit mobs, if he doesn't say anything at all it's a clear case of afk-botting

but it isn't considered botting if he is just standing there.  "botting" is where some kind of action is taking place.  the question is about when the person is just afk and not doing anything.  he is just standing there to hold the spawn.

A robot is a thing that do tasks without any human interference. Botting is when a person gain exp without necessarily being touching the keyboard.

 

When you use a skill to gain experience without human interference (the skill does kill, but is not necessary to nobody to be interfering in it), so, you're botting.
