Pirate revenge quest

At level 100 you get in party go to seadog get treasure chest and fill with gold. Can this quest only be done once? I thought party quests were repeatable but I tried to go to seadog for the pirate quest with a party member and all he did was ship me to death island.

All party quests can be repeated endlessly. However, remember that only the leader of the party can begin the party quest.
