These 2 points will be further elaborated separately now:

 

Lost password/account:

So, you have lost your password or account somehow, either you have just forgotten your password, or you have been hacked? That does not really matter, as long as you just can prove it is your account.

 

In order to prove it is your account, you must post the following information:

Account ID

Character names

E-mail address

Previous passwords

Tell how and when you lost the password

A detail description of the main character; skills, items, level, stats etc.

Screenshots of your main character

 

Account verification:

You have created an account and your account didn't get verified somehow or you haven't received the verification e-mail. Create a topic with the following information:

Account ID

 

Extra:

Do you have other problems with your account, you are very welcome to post about it here, but remember to make a thorough description of the problem.

 

Protect yourself from getting hacked:

Always use passwords that are hard to guess, make use of digits and letters, the longer your password is, the better. Never use any common word, your name, etc.

Use different passwords from the ones you use on PayPal, Skype, Outlook or anything else. Using different passwords for all your accounts is more protective as well.

Never share your account(s) with anyone.

Never exchange an account with anyone without using the Account Talisman.

Antivirus updates include the definitions of viruses till date. So if you don't update it regularly, then there can be ability to get infected your system from a latest coming virus.

Never attempt to download any kind of illegal software! They are not real in many cases, but backdoor programs such as key loggers and trojan horses used to steal your passwords & personal information.

 

 

How do I take screenshots?

 

Here in Wartale we have an integrated screenshot function, it helps you to take screenshots much easier and better. There are two ways of taking a screenshot, and both have their own function:

CTRL+END: Takes a screenshot without HUD

- This option is recommended for pleasurable screenshots, for instance they're used in Picture of the Week!

 

CTRL+HOME: Takes a normal screenshot with time, date, server name and character name

- This option is required for report cases related with screenshots

- NB.: Cases without stamps will get denied, thus you must use this function for cases related with screenshots

 

Where are my screenshots?

 

They are rather easy to find; they should be placed in this folder: …/Wartale/save/screenshots/

 

How do I upload my screenshots, so that I can post them on the forum?

 

This can be done in plenty of ways, however we suggest doing it the simple way as there is no need for complications:

Using online image sharing/hosting sites such as Imgur, that allows you to upload your pictures and you just have to copy the URL and paste it wherever you want.

 

It doesn't really matter which image uploader website you opt to use, just remember to post the direct link of the screenshot, otherwise it won’t show up properly and we won't be able to see it.

 

 

Important Note:
