Shared password question

Hi, my doubt is
If I share my password with shared password, and some friend of mine use some illegal hacking program accessing my account, who will be penalized? he or my shared account will be suspended? even I can be held accountable?

Hi,

As it is your own choice to lend your account to someone i would have to assume you as the owner of the account can be held accountable for him hacking. However i would not think that the owner of the account would be permanently banned in the first place if this happens, but rather only if hacking would be recurring on the same account with different users on share pw.

But since it is your own choice to set a shared pw or not i assume the owner of the account could be held accountable. Otherwise you can just set a share pw, load up a VPN and cheat as much as you like or something like that ?

Rodrigo,

I'm pretty sure the account owner is punished just like the player who's actually using hacking tools.

by the way, i believe all accounts from both player gets perma banned + IP ban.

cause just like @Freppe said, people coud abuse this to mask their IP and use hack tools in their own account with the pretext of being another person to avoid getting banned. ?

we must be careful with the people we share account!

Hi there,

Share password is used to protect the safety of your account, it does not exclude your account from breaking the server's rule. The account itself will be punished regardless of who is playing it. Also the punishment can be from single account to full ban PC and IP or more depend on each case.

Thank you, I was thinking of lending my account to some friends to help them, but I guess I'd rather not risk it
