At 89 I would get the lvl 75 quest armor and solo a I2 hs. Then ice1 hs at 90+

Well that's what I did at least and it worked well.

iron 2 is extremely crowded, most good spawns are always taken =X but i guess you are right so until what lvl is iron2 good?

It doesn't really make that much of a difference, and i2 is always crowded.

I prefer ice because of cele, jera, mirage and what not that drops. Those drops alone are worth it I think.
