Discount on making an item DNT?

Is there a discount on making an item DNT on special occasion say, Xmas holiday period? Or is the price of making it DNT stays the same throughout the year? Also, if you make it DNT, does it remove its mix or age?

Randomly dates in the years they put some coin shop promotions, the last i remember was a 4 months ago was a change name price, its cost 500c but in this event was costing 50c
