 Project Zeus Skill Balance!

• Project Zeus was a major Skill Balance plan that modified stats and functionality of many skills. See the Project Zeus board, Skill Guide or notes below for more information.
• Project Zeus also lets us now modify skills live, without having to restart server. This allows us to test and apply skill balance changes quickly!

 

 New Tier 5 Skills!

• Pikeman: Lethal Strike
  • Deadly target attack skill!
• Pikeman: Dodge
  • Instant cast buff to evade enemy hits within a short time frame!
• One new Tier 5 skill will be released every update till Tier 5 is complete.

 

 New Quest Book and Interface!

• A new Quest Book is now available that lets you manage all quests easily!
  • You can see everything about daily quests, solo quests, party quests and (soon) clan quests!
  • You can make the window smaller by pressing backspace, you can also drag it around.
• For ongoing quests, there's now a Quest Interface displayed on the HUD with info!
  • You can minimize/maximize the quest details on the interface by pressing the title bar or using control + +/- key.
  • You can drag the Quest Interface around and place it where you like.

 

Other Changes

• New Loot Filter Item:
  • A new item that can be bought for 2,500,000 gold at a Premium NPC.
  • To enable the filter, use the Loot Filter item and click the timer to set your filter.
  • The item timer lasts 5 play hours, but the timer stops in towns and if the filter is disabled.
• Added the ability to place an item for Display Only in your Personal Shop. You can do this by picking up the item, and then right click dropping it into your Personal Shop. This will make it have a pink background and then the item cannot be bought by another player, only viewed.
• Added the ability to search an item by name in Coin Shop.
• Added the ability to move items in and out of Clan Treasury with right click.
• Added double click auto attack, which works just like shift+attack.
• Added new inventory sounds for Phantoms and Daggers.
• Removed the ability to clone 160 event items with XMas / Halloween boxes.
• Caravans of other players are no longer clickable, so they don't block you.
• Clicking on another player's right top image puts "/:<name>" in the chat box for you to easily send a private message.
• Reduced Quest Time of Party Quest The Curse to 30 minutes.
• Holy Aura and Amazon Rage now have a faster casting animation.
• Metal Golem, Wolverine and Fire Elemental now are in aggressive mode by default.
• Fire Crystal Tower in Bless Castle Siege War now does burn damage.
• Fire Phoenix and Dragon Pets now do burn damage.
• Hell's Gate Fire Elemental Attacks now do burn damage.
• Figon now does burn damage.
• Freezing skills now have a 'Freeze Strength' value that indicates how strong the frost slowdown is, so that freeze skills can be compared.
• Added a Gold Drop Rate formula based on level difference with the monster, to prevent gold farming.
• Reduced Bellatra SoD score.
• Added command /plevel which works just like /party_level.

 

Skill Balance

• Knight:
  • Changed Damage of Sword Blast and Lightning Sword.
  • Changed description of Godly Shield from "Added Absorption Rating" to "Damage Reduction" for better clarity on how this skill functions.
• Mechanician:
  • Spark damage changed to Damage Boost.
  • Impulsion damage increased and number of sparks increased.
  • Magnetic Sphere damage improved.
• Priestess:
  • Grand Healing HP Restored increased.
  • Vigor Ball damage against Undead monsters increased.
  • Chain Lightning damage improved.
  • Chain Lightning damage  against Normal monsters increased.
  • Regeneration Field bonus for non-party friendly is now 25% instead of 50%.
  • Regeneration Field bonus modifier of 50% or 25% is now applied to both HP Regen and MP Regen.
  • Regeneration Field can now be casted by single clicking, it is no longer required to hold the mouse button down. To stop, click again.
• Shaman:
  • Dark Wave and Dark Bolt Damage Boost improved.
  • Dark Wave and Dark Bolt damage against Mutant and Normal mosnters increased.
  • Inertia fixed (didn't work against monster AoE damage and didn't work properly in PvP).
  • Spiritual Flare damage against Demon increased.
  • Spiritual Flare area improved.
  • Chasing Hunt improved, it now makes other monsters properly attracted to the Shaman.
  • Phantom Call damage against Demons increased.
  • Rainmaker Added Attack Rating improved.
  • Haunt damage against Demons increased.
  • Judgement damage against Demons increased.
  • Mourning Pray damage against Undead increased.
  • Press Deity functionally changed, it now launches an attack automatically periodically for a period of time after being casted on a target.
  • Phantom Nail Normal and Mutant damage bonus removed.
• Archer:
  • Wind Arrow Damage Boost increased.
  • Perfect Aim Damage Boost increased and increased boost against Demons.
  • Arrow of Rage changed to Damage Boost damage type, increased area.
  • Elemental Shot (fire type) now does burn damage.
  • Avalanche now uses mana and stamina on each shot and stops shooting if not enough mana/stamina.
  • Avalanche damage increased and attack speed increased.
• Atalanta:
  • Shield Strike cooldown increased.
  • Fire Javelin Damage Boost increased and increased boost against Mutants.
  • Fire Javelin now does burn damage.
  • Soul Sucker increased.
  • Storm Javelin now pushes enemies.
  • Twist Javelin boost against Demons increased.
  • Lightning Javelin Damage Boost increased and increased boost against Undead.
  • Chimera of Light HP of pet increased.
• Magician:
  • Flame Wave now does burn damage.
  • Flame Wave damage boost changed.
  • Energy Shield MP Reduction changed.
  • Watornado functionally changed: the tornado now stays in place and does Water Damage over time. Water Damage reduces the Lightning resistance of the enemy. Water Damage is a type of elemental attack that is currently exclusive to Watornado.
  • Dancing Sword (fire type) now does burn damage.
  • Dancing Sword now prefers to attack the enemy that you are targeting over a random enemy.
  • Enchant Weapon Lightning Damage is now AoE damage again.
  • Fire Elemental now does burn damage.
  • Enchant Weapon (fire type) now does burn damage.
  • Distortion duration changed.
  • Stone Spike no longer misses.
• Fighter:
  • Roar cooldown increased by 5 seconds.
  • Rage of Zechram now does burn damage.
  • Rage of Zechram area increased.
  • Hellion no longer takes Gold Rake if on Pirate's Revenge party quest.
• Assassin:
  • Stinger damage against Normal and Mutant monsters increased.
  • Wisp fixed (didn't work against monster AoE damage and didn't work properly in PvP).
  • Blade Mastery Evade is now area evade (meaning it also evades area damage).
  • Alas Evade is now area evade.
  • Venom Thorn now does poison damage.
  • Pollute now does poison damage.
  • Deception damage and attack rating bonus now applies to the complete subsequent attack instead of just its first hit.
  • Rising Slash damage boost against Mechanic increased to 100%.
  • Shadow Bomb now does burn damage.
  • Improved overall damage and other stats of:
    • Stinger
    • Double Blow
    • Venom Thorn
    • Blade Mastery
    • Inpes
    • Pollute
    • Frost Wind
    • Shadow Bomb
    • Rising Slash
    • Violent Stub
• Pikeman:
  • Fixed bugs with Critical Hit and Jumping Crash.
  • Jumping Crash improved against Demon monsters.
  • Tornado Range increased.
  • Tornado now has an 'extra range' stat, which increases the effective damage area.
  • Expansion cooldown removed.
  • Venom Spear number of spears increased in PvE.
  • Charging Strike functionally changed, now if you charge the bar for example 40%, the damage boost is 40% into the 60-135 damage boost range, so 90% in this example.
  • Shadow Master Damage Boost increased.

 

Bug Fixes

• Fixed bug with Pikeman losing his hairstyle after using a hat.
• Fixed bug where some skill sounds would stop playing because another skill sound started.
• Fixed bug where Attack Rating Boost of some T1-T4 skills (all Assassin and Shaman skills and Magician's Death Ray skill) and T5 skills didn't work.
• Fixed bug where item stayed in mouse after getting a DC from server.
• Fixed bug where Warehouse or Caravan stayed open after getting a DC from server.
• Fixed bug where sometimes Shadow Master hits wouldn't land.
• Fixed bug where some stats of Advent Migal and Advent Midranda weren't applied immediately.
• Fixed bug where the bow on another Archer or Mechanician wasn't visible.
• Fixed bug where integrity was consumed twice per T1-T4 skill use.
• Fixed bug where ranged monster didn't do damage on afking player on a wall.
• Fixed bug where Bellatra boss kill message was displayed to players in other Bellatra rooms as well.
• Fixed bug with Flame Wave area cone being inverted.
• Fixed bug where Critical Hit didn't do damage twice, where it should.
• Fixed bug where Jumping Crash didn't visually show critical hits properly.
• Fixed bug where Gust Slash damage against Mechanic wasn't correct.
• Fixed Great Smash not working.
• Fixed Magnetic Sphere attack range not working.
