Cloud's up to date Exp Guide + Money guide

Hello all and welcome to my exp guide!

looking through the armory and there is some oldschool topics based on hunt maps and exp guides. However, thought i'd put a few of them to the test and do a journal of some sort to help newcomers to the server.  8).

My aim:

To get as high level as possible (potentially 8x/10x before doing quests) based on just using crystals.

 

My experience so far: (11/02/2017 and return on 20/04/2020)

 

Starting off-

I started with a priestess for my first level 1 character from personal preference. I also started with some gold from my main account. (2kk to be precise) So if you are completely new i'd recommend farming a little in Garden of Freedom or begging in ric (don't actually do option 2 its annoying af  : )

 

Before you begin to train you need to PREPARE! A few tips i'm happy to give:

1. Buy a armour/costume (dependant on your class) in my case I can't buy either so a soccer shirt will do from the soccer fan in Ricarten.

2. Purchase a few ric/phillai telecores and hp pots  (since you have no brace 6 at a time but take some spare).

3. Go to the Huntress located near the item distributor/force master/clan master in Ricarten (or alternatively by warp gate in Phillai) and fill both inventories with Mystic Crystals.

4. Final part of the preparation is buying blue telecores from the Premium Shop (located behind Secretary Karina in Ric).

 

First location:(1-40) Time Estimation(20-30mins)

(Mystery Forest 1/2/3 it doesn't matter which)

 

Use your blue telecore to go to one of the MF's and upon arrival spam 10 Mystic Crystals. Take Precaution when approaching a spawn as you WILL get hammered with only being level 1! Keep luring the mobs onto your spawned monsters and watch the levels fly up.

 

Location 2: (40-55) Time Estimation (15-20 mins) Oasis

Use Blue telecore to Oasis, again using Mystic crystals and stock up on hp pots!

Note: Whilst here i'd recommend you loot any drops you get (weapons/armour etc.) just to save yourself gold and hp pots for future reference.

 

Location 3: (55-65) Battlefield of the Ancients/Forbidden Land

Dependant on your level at this point its probably best to purchase King Hopy or Hulk Crystals (fill invo's again). Again looting gear as you go to keep up to date saving gold.

 

Location 4: (65 - 80) Sanctuary of Darkness

Before heading here bulk yourself with Hulk crystals and spam 10 crystals at a time. Lure mobs in a small amount on to the crystals if you're weak so you exp fast. 

 

ADVISORY: At level 80 i'd recommend you start to do your rank up quests to unlock your skills ready for the next location (mainly cause you will need to use the next maps as part of your quests).

 

Location 5: (80- 85)Railway of Chaos (Iron 1) or Heart of Perum (Iron 2)

Again, dependant at what level you hit this point you can either start in Iron 1 or Iron 2, using Iron Giant crystals to aid you in battle.

 

Location 6: (85 - 100) Cursed Temple 2 (CT2)

Before setting out in this map go to the hunter in Ricarten and purchase ice giant crystals fill your inventory as much as you can and purchase a blue core from the premium shop in Ric too to get there.

Spam your crystals and lure on to the ice giants. You should find the exp is good here and won't take too long to get to 100. If you are lucky try and join a party and dual spawn both spawns where you teleport to after using the core.

 

Location 7: (100 - 105) Mystery Desert 2  

We are finally moving on up in the world and now getting to a good level! (woo) you won't be spending too much time here but now when you are buying your cores in Ric you will be buying the green cores. Hopefully you have been collecting your gold at this point in the game and have now learnt that there are some wonderful people in Ric town selling 10x items for your class. Make sure you use some of the sheltoms you've saved up to mix your items to make you a little more tankier (i wouldn't advise using a good mix just something easy like mirage/inferna) to exp here as crystals are no longer that useful (unless you have some cash and can buy legendary crystals to help you, but personally, I wouldn't waste your money). 

 

Location 8: (105 - 110) Mystery Desert 3

Before you head on over to MD2 I would highly suggest you take the ferry from Ric port to battle town. Here you can collect a daily quest in MD2 and earn almost an extra level which is rather amazing if you don't enjoy spending a lot of time grinding. MD2 is playe a popular location for 11x characters so you should be doing well at this point to party some higher level players which will help to do your quest easily (so choose the highest difficulty basically). As of this point in your journey I would also recommend browsing the shops in ricarten and looking for some bargains to keep equipping your character better!

 

Location 9: (110 - 115) Forgotten Temple 1

As soon as you enter this map you will find a gigantic hell spawn (HS) in front of you. If you are properly equipped (up to date items that are mixed. I would recommend inferna or higher mix) you should be able to hit this spawn easily. Again, legendary or boss crystals (such as babel/valento) will help you do this location with ease. DO NOT FORGET TO GET DAILY QUEST AND CHOOSE MAXIMUM DIFFICULTY FROM THE NPC IN BATTLE TOWN! If you train properly here you should start to gain 1 level per hour.

 

AS A RULE OF THUMB: When hitting level 105+ ALWAYS go back to the npc each day to claim your daily quests as this will help you level a lot quicker. When hitting 12x it's pointless doing 105 quest for example. It would be better to do your current level quest and the one below.

 

Location 10: (115 - 120) Forgotten Temple 2

This is a really nice map with some great spawn rates so you shouldn't be here too long. And if you're boosting multiple characters, there are lots of safe places. 

 

Location 11: (120 - 132) Cursed Temple 3

This is where Exp'ing gets profitable AND super fast. It may be hard to find a party at times but when you do you can expect to gain a large amount of exp within just 10 minutes! The great thing about this map is that you will see sheltoms drop playe often near the tanker. Mainly Enigmas and Infernas, which at the current market price Infernas = 1kk+ each and Enigmas 5kk+ each.

 

Note: When hitting 128 make sure to go to AD3 and do your daily Q here for some extra exp and gold.

 

HOW DO I EARN GOLD TO BUY BETTER GEARS CLOUD?!

Ah yes, it's a tough world we live in where gears require more than what we earn. So here's a few tips for you!

1. At 11x i'd recommend joining a clan/guild, it's not my proudest moment but it might be worth asking some of the higher levels if they have picked up anything that may benefit you to get further equipped that they would kindly 'donate' to you.

2. Survive or Die (SOD) - It's found in Navisko town and provides some nice experience and gold! take some crystals with you if you wanna earn some good exp and aren't too well equipped. If you start to understand your highest level round before crying then when you get to this round in the future RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as if you do die in SOD well... you basically get NOTHING! so run b*tch runnnnnnnnnnn if you want that gold that is. EDIT: with the most recent update you can now use pets and crystals in SOD this has become a very useful technique to earning exp and gold at a lower level.

3. Moon hunter - a somewhat nerfed method. You can find moonhunters for a small investment of 1.5kk (at the time of writing this), mini boss mobs will spawn at night time and if you kill them they give a significant amount of exp and drop premium items which can be sold to make $$$ 

4. Star hunting - by running around the Morion maps at night you can find fallen stars. If you double press the A key it will lock the drop filter and you can run and collect at your hearts desire. Each night you can find between 5 - 20 stars (depending on your speed) and each star will sell in Ricarten for around 350k - 800k.

Money Making Guide 2022 Update

 

With the introduction of the three new professions, there has been a major lift towards a no pay to win environment in Wartale. 
 

The newest way to make money is as follows:

- create an Archer or Assassin character (even as a second character for this job.

- exp that character to level 110+ 

- build equipments based around speed (all additional stat points on health, mokova boots bsol Stamina mix, soccer top) 

- grab a pickaxe and trowel from Ruinen (or buy your spec one from Ricarten for extra speed/ores/herbs) 

- go run round any maps that link and farm ores/herbs 

- sell those beautiful new ores and Etheroots for some tasty gold

very helpful this guide, this helped me alot to comeback to play wartale, dont have any idea how to start and how to farm some gold, now im close to 132 already im less than a month

Thanks for writing this up Cloud, 

Really helped me get started and level up playe quickly. 

I struggled with saving gold till I started doing the quests and using the drop filter. 

I find the mysterious deserts really effin difficult too. Im only lvl 106 Prst with inferna mixed angel robe, prs dragon gaunts, boots, bracelets and a cribal staff with no upgrades.

It kinda does, only problem is that gearing up between lvl 100 and 120 is harder. Most of the gear between these lvls is not beeing sold anymore or rarely in ric. Is just started 3 days ago, dont have too much time but im 106 (pike) right now. Because of the lack of gear i started moonhunting around lvl 80 on the hell spawn in DS. At my current level i get around 30% a night, that is about 4 min is guess, before it was maybe a couple of lvls a night. After the mini bosses have been defeated and its day again go back to ric and look at shops or what ever. 2min till night start your travel to the HS in DS again and get ur easy exp. If you are able to gear up correctly then this guide and its lvl&spawn guide might be a bit quicker.

i'm lvl 117 and it's take me 2 hours for 1 lvl (20min - 10%) at Forgotten Temple 2 with full 6 party members
