why would an archer go for attackrating?

I figure Archers and Atas get enough AR as it is, don't think they'd go for ATR over crit. What about for KS and FS?v would they need ATR or crit more? I always went for ATR on my fighter in the hopes of dest missing less. Not too sure for knights tho, I never really had any problems hitting mobs on my knight.
