Mage has been given more than fair consideration to balance issues over the past few updates, a long way from where they started. Quite clearly we're not neglecting mage but it requires patience while we work things out. I think fighter has a tougher time getting attention than the mage class and that they should be complaining more than the mages around the forum.

I saw billions of topics related to balance classes and improves and they got his improves fast. Magicians have to wait something like YEARS for get their stuffs ( if they get, 'cause things can change in the final minute, right? It's a reasonable doubt...)

I'm enough to fight.Won't post nothing more about magicians or wherever else, when I though that the damn unbalance would turns into a balance the situation changed and continue the same.In fact, nothing will really makes difference after all, all the effort didn't/won't change(d) anything.

I'm sorry if a dancing sword boost, agony change, 1 v 1 improvements, fire elemental boost, and removing meteorite delay among other things makes you feel like nothing has changed. A lot has changed from the magicians of past, and I always understood their complaining because it was justified. I'm sick of trying to reason with most [not all] of the mages around here, you're a decent class now and only improving and yet you whine more than ever. Its hard to listen to when its becoming less and less justified with each patch. If there is one class I'm willing to listen to now for complaining they need improvement, its probably fighter.

 

I'm not going to continue to argue if the only reasoning you'll accept is that you're a horrible class unless you have every one of your wishes granted NOW. Wartale just started working on T5 again so lots of changes are in store. We've done most of what we can do until more T5 gets pushed out and a proper rebalance is done. Be patient.

With any game there will always be unbalance classes. It's up to the players to point out their argument and be hopeful that it be granted in a timely fashion. What most mage's want basically is to be equal with any other classes. Hunting, SoD,PvP etc etc., in realm mages united and got their cause heard. Thank you to the faithful mage players. Being patient is very hard for some who has played realm for years and nothing was done till recently. I can see why every mage player are happy with their class now. They can finally do things just as good as other classes. As for other classes, you need to unite and be heard as well. Perhaps in time all classes will be happy when all T5 are out. Am hoping no more nerfing on any classes period. Thank you for reading my 2cents. Free at last thank Wartale and GM's Mages are free at last.

Go watch Diablo 3 gameplay and talk, when its out im sure lots of player will play diablo 3 including me, coz we got pissed at little to none improvement in characters we like to play, whenever I go ingame and login my mage, I get demotivated seeing the spell they use sucks

 

When did mage ever got overpowered?

 

Look at pikes Venom pike, and they can kill boss tulla and FA so quickly

1. It didn't get a boost the affect of amplify is there since amplify was released.Plus, even with the effect of Amplify and E.W the skill (dancing sword) still is USELESS 'cause it don't have amount DMG for pass the defense/abs of the hunt monsters.

2.This wasn't needed since they improve all Potions.

3.Tier 5 isn't an exclusivity of Magicians.

4.All pets got a improve.By the way, add more HP for a skill pet don't make much difference since when the pet die you can cast other.

5. Seriously ? Every single pirate PT server do it.

1. Hunt monsters have high levels of absorb, so its not just dancing sword that does little damage, its nearly all skills. You can't expect it to be on par with DR damage.

2. I can agree with this for the most part.

3. It isn't, but they're the only ones who have gotten a mastery that improves damage

4. All pets got improved, but not all classes have a pet. Pets dying also leave you vulnerable while you're re-summoning, so it is an improvement.

5. I don't care about other private servers, this is rPT. If they have charging strike grant 300% boost per hit does it make it right? No. Meteorite is also really powerful hitting 3 times at that power.

 

Who said it was "done"? Do you have a quote from the staff saying "Magician improvements are finished and no updates will ever be given" or something along those lines? I don't think it will be completely balanced regardless of what you do in t1-t4 unless T5 is finished and then we rebalance. The change at the website was up for a while, but quite certainly not two years [the exact new formula]. For whatever reason the staff found it suitable to change it and not implement the original design. They still did update it [does something instead of nothing no matter how minor]. I just think the magician community is overreacting to the whole thing, they completely flipped about it when there are plenty of classes who haven't been  updated in forever in any way. The magician community is completely misinterpreting the whole thing that the staff has something out for magicians, which is not true.

1.You said that DS got a boost and I said that the it didn't get, implying that it was worked and it don't. You also, implying that it was useful. And NO. What happened was a coincidence and this don't make the skill useful. So, it continue useless like always was.

3. All classes get in t5 what their need more, how the 1vs1 magician skills are extremely weak, they get Amplify that boost the damage.For a little comparison look at ATR Mastery of Pikemans.They need ATR and they got.

4.Yeah, I agree, boost Pet's HP  it's good but isn't the biggest master blaster super improve. You can live w/o it, re-cast a pet skill is something that you will have to do later or early, so wherever. By the way, the one class who haven't pet and won't get it is fighter and pris (2/8 classes) so,  have or don't isnt a valid argument anymore.

5.Hmm... Almost all skills delays was removed, of all classes, so do you really want put it as a ''balance'' for Magicians ? It's a balance for every single class.

As I said before I saw billions of changes in the classes here , and in fact, this months ago was the first ''hard magicians changes/improves'' that I've saw here.

As I said, they did somethings that weren't needed anymore and ''re-make'' that are supposed to be a true help be nothing more than a little help.But, OK. other classes need too.

The future Magicians players will enjoy, I guess, if I look to the past for try to figure out the future they will get other improves/changes in next two years.But, don't be happy it can be useful or not.

Sometimes staff do changes which we didn't expect. Even I got very surprised to know the way they did it with EW.

 

Mage class could not be still what it is supposed to be, but you guys have to adimit mages situation now is much more comfortable than before, since we had some major fixes this year. We got it because it was fair and needed to get it. But we have to see both sides: when it was unfair to us, and now, when things get better. Otherwise we would be just like the melees guys which were selfish and said mage is a support class. We would be just as selfish like them if we didn't recognize much was done.

 

Also, in the end of all T5, every class will suffer their final (and most precise) balance. maybe even if our class looks to be far from what it's supposed to be, like in PvP, but we still should wait, since the most of the concern lies on T5 (not only ours, but everybody's T5).

 

We could say we've we still got useless skills, it's true. Every class has tham and will always have them. But stop a little bit to think. We now have very useful skills which were useless before! And also we have to think if we need all of the skills. At least in the case of dancing sword, if we got a good EW or enough spirit elemental, it would do in the place of dancing sword.

 

So I think it's now time to enjoy for mages, and we will wait the final balance to finally get all things in their place.  I'd like to be competitive in PvP now, yes I do, but see for example mech, any mage can easily kill a mech in the same level, which is really unfair for them. and they are waiting. See priestess. They got improvement, indeed. But if I were a prs, I'd like to be the ultimate cure, and everybody want me not because I have a badass AoE or because I have VL or because one or other skill. i'd like me to be wanted (if prs) because prs is supposed to be all the way helpful to do anything with, not being mule, but alongside with (like the safe shelter in the rain). They situation is not so perfect, but they are patient too.

 

So guys, please consider this and lets show what mages came from (playing the game fiercely and with pride).

I don't agree with the fighter part (because I don't know them) but anyways...

 

I think it happens because mage was always bad at everything, so we sorta "don't know how it feels being part ok".

 

Also you have to consider everyone want something different for mage and have different expectations. that's why most people complain.
