Drawing weapons / defenses - Easy steps for everyone

I want to share with you guys my easy steps to draw something fancy

1. Everything starts with SIMPLE ideal. You can get the ideals from everywhere, a building, a boat, a table, a castle, a dragon, etc.

2. Shaping it visually in your mind.

3. Starting with really basic structure (Line, symmetric structures).

4. Use ruler and draw light lines to give your ideal a form.

5. Building from the center for symmetrical design, such as in this example.

6. Add details as much as you want. (SIMPLE is beauty, COMPLICITY with controlled amount of details can be a good combination).

7. Using curved lines can be a little bit hard but just loose your wrist a little bit.

8. Cleaning up your designs.

9. Enjoy the result. :">

 

I really want to see your ideas/designs. Maybe someday you will see your designs become something nice ... in game !
