Paypal is necessary. Last I checked I think you could also use Paypal without credit card, by linking your bank account to the Paypal account instead. Have you tried that?

in my playing days i used to have a virtual international credit card account, i would deposit through bank slip and have my virtual credit card number linked to a paypal account, then i would use it to donate. euro is worth a 1 kg diamond sack in this third world shithole i live in, though.
